We opened in 1985 with one simple idea: to bring the seafood and fish of the Galician estuaries to Gran Canaria, cook them with no fuss and serve them as they deserve. Four decades on, we still do it the same way.
At Rías Bajas we work every day with fresh produce, traditional Galician cooking and a dining room set up for unhurried meals. Regulars know that here you eat well, properly. First-timers usually come back.
Behind the bar and the kitchen there's craft, inherited recipes and a way of understanding food that hasn't changed: produce, fire and patience.
